Singing Bowl Sound Therapy

Tibetan Bowl Sound Therapy is profoundly relaxing. During the session Tibetan Sound Bowls will be placed on or held above your body. When played, they send waves of vibration throughout your body harmonizing every cell. The beautiful sounds produced by the Tibetan Bowls also have a hypnotic effect on the brain, slowing brain waves and inducing a deep meditative state. Because it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual planes, sound can also redress imbalances and can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.Top

Body Frequency Alignment

Body Frequency Alignment is a combination of healing and relaxation techniques and involves you 'becoming a drum' as I work with gentle percussive movements on the body. These movements are done to a back track that you listened to on headphones. This track encourages the brain to go into a more relaxed theta brain wave state. Because the body is experiencing the rhythms it hears and feels through my tapping at exactly the same tempo as the back track, a synch of body and mind is brought about. Once you are in this relaxed mental state, your body is more receptive to the gentle acupressure which also forms part of the session.Top

With Jacobson's progressive relaxation technique, which involves contracting and relaxing the muscles, I guide you to make you feel calmer and to help you to let go of any tension left in your muscles.
